Key Priorities
Rigorous Academic Programming
I will advocate for rigorous and advanced curriculum, proven teaching methods, fair special education and vocational programming to provide an excellent education for all Elmbrook students. I will also work to ensure that our students are recruited by the finest universities around the country.
Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency
I will ensure that our community’s $75 million investment in our school district through property tax revenue is invested wisely to provide maximum benefit for students. I will act to preserve the district’s long-term fiscal stability without requiring referenda to increase property taxes.
School Safety
I believe a safe learning environment is essential for student success and that bullying should never be tolerated. During my time advising nonprofits, I worked with safety and security teams and secured grants aimed at enhancing facility safety and resilience.
Focused Learning
I believe in fostering a safe and balanced approach to technology in our schools. I will work to limit digital distractions harming our students’ mental health while ensuring technology is used thoughtfully to personalize learning. I will advocate for clear communication and transparency with families, providing them with insight into how technology is used in our classrooms.
